... As
I reverently entered a larger area of the Uffizi Museum
in Florence, Italy, I knew that the painting
was here, but where? I slowly turned to my left and found
that I was standing three feet away from it...Botticelli's Birth
of Venus. It took my breath away! I was so overwhelmed
at its size and grandeur that I nearly cried. I studied
this painting in art history at UOP and did not care that
the Uffizi was full of people. I was alone in the presence
of one of the most beautiful, insightful, and moving paintings
ever envisioned....

Expressive
writing
and languages were my life's first interests. As
I considered majoring in journalism, I studied photography to support that
goal. I fell in love with photography and found that a study of design would
strongly incorporate photography as well as art history; yet another love.
My art influence was my mother, a watercolorist. Animation also fascinated
me and
I have determined
all of this into web design.
If
the beginning is the end,
then I will come in full circle to where I
began.
